There are different ways on how to earn money at your home with just a stable Internet connection and computer. Today, lots of Filipinos switch to telecommuting or working from home ditching their traditional jobs on earning money. Employees choose it because telecommute is more practical as it saves them money, keeps them away from the stress of traffic and humid of commuting, and yet makes them more productive.
On the other hand, lots of domestic and local employers are now embracing the unique benefits of hiring remote workers because it allows them to get access to global talent, less employee turnover and saves them money.
For the next 6 years, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) estimates that there will be 2.5 million telecommuting job available for Filipinos in the next 6 years. Up today, its demand for such jobs is huge that there are even a bill aiming to protect the rights and provide appropriate benefits for work from home employees that is already in the Congress pending for approval.
Perhaps in a report by ABS-CBN News, it is revealed that Filipino remote workers can earn around P20,000 to P40, 000 every month. Like Amber Lupena, 22 years old, said she earns P20,000 to P22,000 monthly being an at-home-mom by working as social media manager and marketer for two clients based in the US. The job saves her from the hassle of commuting and at the same time gives her more time with her family. Same as Bheng Celon who has been working as virtual assistant for an Australian company for 7 years now. She said she can make around $3 to $10 per hour. Working from home, you should assure that you also invest money on stable Internet connection, community devices, electricity and other equipment.
